2017 Fabric To Make
“Fabric To Make” is a work commitment that Biel Barnils, Jordi Lafont and Juan Carlos Moreno Echevarria make on the estelada, as an element of reflection. All the stars hanging on the balconies, worn by the wind and rain, challenge us. To exchange them for new ones, many dozens were collected by the Catalan National Assembly of Vic and offered to us.
We gave them to different people to return to us transformed into an artistic piece to generate a participatory and open story that contributes and diversifies the view on a political icon that has gained intensity in recent years.
The project was part of the exhibition “Under the Shadow of Participation” (ACVic) a horizon has allowed us, for this occasion, the distribution of all the performances of the stellar of 48 artists in the country.
