2004-06 I am the time I have left

With Nora Ancarola.

"I am the time I have left", is the idea of time sustained in the swing of a body/swing, as a reference of life and death, the body and voice of an old woman who tells us the her illness in the sgraffito transcription that we can read on the back of the swing and through the mirror, which like a pool of water we find on the ground reflecting the piece.

This sculpture begins its journey with “Sibyl”, the first part of the “Trilogy of privacy” project, with Nora Ancarola:

«The myth of the Sibyl transcends time and comes to us from the hand of the spirit of the lost as the myth of an organizing knowledge of memory, the memory of ethics and true revelation: the present is appearance, past experience and the future only depends on our lucid understanding».

ROUTE
