Nora Ancarola.

“A sea in the kitchen” is the metaphor of the journey that generations of women have made from the everyday and private place of transformation such as the kitchen, to finding the place and its position in the world, where it grows, builds and create. Where she sails transferred to her own body, where she spins the language of the «sayable» with the «unspeakable».

Made of bras and jars of recycled spices and oils, these boats and ships from the “A sea in the kitchen”installation were part of the “Domus Aurea” project, in collaboration with Nora Ancarola.

ROUTE
